Soil Water Retaining Agent
I. Product Introduction
Soil water retaining agent is a new type of functional polymer water-absorbent material independently developed and produced by our company with high and new technology. It contains a large number of hydrophilic groups and an excellent molecular structure, enabling it to absorb hundreds of times its own weight of water in a short period, and realize slow release and repeated water absorption. Therefore, it can form a micro reservoir in the soil around plant roots to maintain a moist environment, effectively improve the soil's capacity to retain water and fertilizer, raise water and fertilizer utilization efficiency, optimize soil structure, enhance soil permeability and create a favorable growing environment for plants.
 
This soil water retaining agent is an acrylate/acrylamide cross-linked copolymer. Superior product performance is achieved by virtue of advanced equipment and proprietary production technology. The product features a high water absorption rate and strong gel strength after water absorption, allowing repeated use under soil pressure. It can maintain long-term soil permeability and prevent soil compaction. With ultra-strong water and nutrient absorption and retention performance, it can exert a slow-release effect when mixed with fertilizers or pesticides, reduce nutrient loss, improve the utilization efficiency of fertilizers and pesticides, and mitigate environmental pollution.
 
The product is fully biodegradable. After 2 to 3 years of application in soil, it will gradually decompose into carbon dioxide, water, nitrogen and other harmless substances. It is beneficial rather than harmful to soil and can improve the original ecological environment.

III. Scope of Application
SPB102 Soil Water Retaining Agent is mainly applicable to afforestation, fruit tree cultivation, desert control and other projects.
SPB204 Soil Water Retaining Agent is mainly applicable to field crop planting, nursery seedling raising, lawn planting and other scenarios.
SPB410 Soil Water Retaining Agent is mainly applicable to root coating, seed pelleting and seed granulation.
SPB110 Soil Water Retaining Agent is mainly applicable to home gardening and indoor planting.

IV. Usage Methods

1. SPB102 Soil Water Retaining Agent
Wet Application Method
Put the water retaining agent into water at a mass ratio of 1:150, and let it fully absorb water for 3~6 hours (fertilizers can be added as needed). Apply the fully water-absorbed gel particles of the water retaining agent into the pre-dug pits (furrows), mix evenly with soil (3~5 times the weight of the gel particles). Then plant the seedlings in the pits (furrows), cover with a layer of soil and irrigate with an appropriate amount of water.
Dry Application Method
Directly put an appropriate amount of water retaining agent into the pre-dug pits (furrows), mix evenly with soil at a mass ratio of 1:500~1000. Plant the seedlings in the pits (furrows), then irrigate with sufficient water to make the water retaining agent fully absorb water to saturation, and cover with a layer of soil.
Reference Dosage:
Young seedlings: 5~10g per plant
Medium-aged seedlings: 10~20g per plant
Mature seedlings: 20~30g per plant 
Note: The above reference dosage can be properly adjusted according to local soil quality, drought condition, seedling size, tree species and other actual factors.
2. SPB204 Soil Water Retaining Agent
Wet Application Method
Put the water retaining agent into water at a mass ratio of 1:150, and let it fully absorb water for 1~3 hours (fertilizers can be added as needed). Mix the fully water-absorbed gel particles of the water retaining agent evenly with planting soil (3~5 times the weight of the gel particles). Then conduct pit planting, pot planting or broadcast sowing, cover with a layer of soil and irrigate with an appropriate amount of water.
Dry Application Method
Directly apply an appropriate amount of water retaining agent into furrows, pits, flowerpots or broadcast on the soil surface, mix evenly with soil at a mass ratio of 1:500~1000. Plant the crops/seedlings, then irrigate with sufficient water to make the water retaining agent fully absorb water to saturation, and cover with a layer of soil.
Reference Dosage:
 Young seedlings: 2~4g per plant
Medium-aged seedlings: 4~6g per plant
By area: 5~30g per square meter
Note: The above reference dosage can be properly adjusted according to local soil quality, drought condition, plant type and other actual factors.
3. SPB410 Soil Water Retaining Agent
Wet Method
Put the water retaining agent into water at a mass ratio of 1:150 under stirring, let it stand for 15~30 minutes to fully absorb water and form a gel mixture. For seedling transplanting, conduct root coating by soaking the bare roots of seedlings in the gel mixture for 1 minute, then take out and air dry. For long-distance transportation, wrap the gel-coated seedling roots with plastic film to prevent rapid water loss of roots.
Dry Method
Moisten the seedling roots with water, then evenly sprinkle the water retaining agent powder on the roots and spray a proper amount of water (avoid excessive spraying to prevent product loss).
Reference Dosage: 1kg of the product can be used for root coating of 2000 seedlings.
Note: The above dosage is for reference only, and the specific dosage can be adjusted as necessary according to actual conditions.
4. SPB110 Soil Water Retaining Agent (for Home Planting)
Wet Application
Add 1 teaspoon of water retaining agent to 500ml of water, let it fully absorb water for 1 hour, mix the swollen water retaining agent with 5 liters of potting soil, then plant the plants.
Dry Application
Mix 1 teaspoon of water retaining agent with 5 liters of potting soil, plant the plants and then irrigate with sufficient water.
For Potted Plants Already Planted
Dig vertical pits around the plant roots, add an appropriate amount of water retaining agent, mix evenly with soil, water thoroughly and fill the pits.
For Sod Laying
Evenly spread 10g of water retaining agent per square meter before laying sod, then lay the sod and irrigate with water.
For Sowing
Mix 10g of water retaining agent per square meter into the top 50mm of soil layer, then sow the seeds and irrigate with water.
 Note: The above mixing ratios can be properly adjusted under drought or extreme weather conditions.

V. Precautions

1.This product is prone to moisture absorption, so it should be sealed and stored in a cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
2.This product is not a water-generating material. It can only retain and release water after absorbing water by irrigation. The wet application method is recommended for planting (especially in arid areas or areas with difficult irrigation).
3.Avoid direct sunlight on the gel particles of water retaining agent after absorbing water and fertilizer. Cover the surface with more than 5cm of soil when applying the water retaining agent.
4.Keep the product out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, do not drink water and seek medical advice immediately.
